The son of a farmer, Richard was running wine bars in London in the eighties and his passion for fun, hospitality and good food continues today.

Says Richard: "It's been my dream to run a great pub for over a decade. I want people to come and enjoy a really warm welcome here, and leave thinking 'that was fun'. The Swan is a proper village pub done simply and well. We're concentrating on getting the food, drink and atmosphere right. I look forward to welcoming you."
